MIST Therapy is a low-energy, low-intensity ultrasound delivered through a saline mist to the wound bed. The MIST Therapy System is designed to deliver therapeutic ultrasound to the wound bed without direct contact of the device to the body (noncontact).

The goal of our wound care specialist, Eugenio Rodriguez, M.D., Oscar Rojas, D.PM. and Kimberly Harris, A.R.N.P. at Wound Care Associates is to provide a comprehensive treatment of trauma, burns, and other serious injuries to people living in and around South Florida.

There are a variety of surgeons on staff, each bringing extensive expertise in all areas of wound care from general surgery to trauma. Post-Mohs surgery is also available.
Patients of all ages can receive a diagnosis and treatment for diabetic foot problems, including diabetic ulcers, traumatic injuries, and burns. Whenever possible, Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Rojas uses limb-saving measures, but if necessary, they perform amputations.
